Rental terms
The terms for renting home-care equipment from us: the rental period, rent, the refundable deposit, using the equipment and returning it.

Who you rent from
CXCare is a brand of COMMITX TECHNOLOGY (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U62099KA2025OPC204939), 251, 1st Floor, 12 Block, 1st B Main Road, West of Chord Road II Stage, Bangalore North, Bengaluru 560086, Karnataka, which rents you the equipment. The equipment stays our property throughout the rental.
Your rental and rent
The rental starts on the delivery date you choose and runs for the period you choose at checkout. Rent is charged per period, in advance. At checkout you pay the first period's rent, the delivery fee, GST on both, and the refundable deposit; the full break-up is shown before you pay, and the total shown is the amount charged.
For longer rentals, each later period is billed a few days before it starts, with a payment link; nothing is taken from your account automatically unless you turn on UPI AutoPay for that rental (see UPI AutoPay below); you can turn it off at any time from My rentals or your UPI app. You can extend a rental, or book a pickup to end it, from My rentals at any time, or by asking us. If you do neither by the end date, the next month is billed at the same rate until the equipment is collected; we remind you 7 days before the end date.
Longer rentals
For household rentals the monthly rent steps down the longer you rent: from month 3, 5% less than in the first months, and from month 6, 7.5% less (our rates page shows the steps in force). It counts the months you actually rent, including extensions and any months after the end date, whatever period you booked. Your order shows what each month comes to before you pay, and the steps your order was booked with stay with it. Nothing is charged back if you return early.
Programme, organisation and business rates don't step down.
Codes and offers
We list every code we run on our rates page, with its terms and dates; there are no private codes. Only one offer applies to an order: if a code and a referral offer both apply, we use the one that saves you more, and the cart says so.
A code takes at most ₹1,000 off an order and at most 20% of the first month's rent. It applies to rent only, never to the deposit, a buy-out or supplies, and to the delivery fee only when the code says so. Codes don't apply to programme, organisation or business rates, or to items the rates page lists as excluded. Each code shows as its own line on your invoice, and GST is charged on the reduced amount. If an order is cancelled before dispatch with a full refund, a code used on it can be used again.
Credit on your account
We may give you credit, for example as an apology when our service falls short. Credit is used automatically as a discount on your next rent, supplies or buy-out invoice, shown as its own line. It is never paid out as cash, can't be transferred, and ends 12 months after it is given; our message says the date. While an order waits for payment, the credit on it is held for that order. If an invoice that used credit is later credited back, the credit returns to your account.
Programme and organisation rates
Published rates for members of a programme (run by a non-profit, an employer or an association) and for non-profit organisations renting for their own use are listed on our rates page with who qualifies. A household never gets a private price. A programme rate applies only after the sponsor has confirmed your member ID; we tell the sponsor only that the ID was checked, never what you rent.
Business accounts
Organisations can order through a business account under a written agreement, which prevails over these terms where they differ. The account always pays for its orders: at checkout, or by invoice on the account's terms. We never send a payment link for a business order to a patient or their family. Invoices go to the account's GSTIN billing address with its purchase order number.
A member who orders for a patient confirms that the patient or their family agreed to us using the delivery details for that order.
UPI AutoPay (optional)
UPI AutoPay is optional, and only for rentals paid month by month once the equipment is with you. You can turn it on from My rentals after delivery; we never ask for it while you book or pay.
With it on, we take each month's rent from your UPI account on its due date, never more than the limit you approve in your UPI app (at most ₹15,000 a debit). At least 24 hours before each debit we message you with the exact amount and the date, with a link to skip that debit or turn AutoPay off; your bank also sends its own notice. We only ever take the amount in that notice, and we send a receipt after each debit.
To set it up, your UPI app asks you to approve ₹1; we refund it in full within 5–7 working days. Your UPI app shows the AutoPay as valid until a date about 400 days after the rental's end date, because extensions can make a rental longer; we turn it off ourselves when the rental ends, is bought out or is cancelled.
You can skip one debit until an hour before it, or turn AutoPay off at any time, from My rentals with one tap and one confirmation, or in your UPI app. Turning it off stops every debit that hasn't started; one that is already with the UPI network can't be stopped.
If a debit doesn't go through, nothing changes on your rental: no fee and no late charge. We send you a pay link for that month, as without AutoPay. A debit that failed for a technical reason may be tried up to twice more, about a day apart and each time with a new notice.
If you also pay the same rent by link while a debit is in progress, you may be charged twice; anything paid twice is refunded, or set against what you owe when the rental ends.
Refundable deposit
The deposit is held for you and is not our income. It is refunded within 3 days of the return inspection, to the way you paid. We deduct from it only for damage or loss beyond normal wear, as listed in our damage schedule, and only with photos from the delivery and return condition reports.
Using the equipment
- Use it as your doctor advised. Settings such as oxygen flow or pressure come only from the prescribing doctor, never from us.
- Keep it at the delivery address, clean and dry. Please don't open or repair it yourself.
- If it stops working, report it from My rentals or call us: we repair or replace it, as Faults and replacements below says.
Faults and replacements
Report a fault from My rentals (Something wrong with it?), or call us. Faults are handled from 8 am to 8 pm, every day. In those hours we call you back within 30 minutes; a fault reported after 8 pm is picked up from 8 am.
If it can't be put right over the phone, we bring a replacement unit. We aim to deliver it within 6 hours, counted only from 8 am to 8 pm (a fault reported at 5:30 pm is aimed for 11:30 am the next day). This is a target, not a guarantee, and there is no overnight replacement, so please ask your doctor what to do if the machine stops. A replacement doesn't change your rental period, rent or deposit.
If anyone is unwell, call 108 or 112 at once; don't wait for us. We can't give medical advice.
Prescriptions and ID
Some equipment needs a doctor's prescription before delivery. Orders above a value shown at checkout need one ID document of your choice: PAN, driving licence, voter ID or masked Aadhaar. Aadhaar is never required; if you use it, upload the masked version only.
Returning the equipment
Ask us to collect it when you no longer need it. Pickup is free, usually within 24 hours. The rental ends on the pickup date.
Returning it before the end of a month? Rent is paid per month in advance and the month you are in is not refunded. Your deposit is refunded as usual after pickup.
Rent-to-own and buying
On equipment we offer to buy, half (50%) of the rent you pay, excluding GST and after any credit notes, is credited towards buying it, up to its sale price for each unit. The rental page shows your credit.
You can buy the whole rental once at least 3 months of rent are paid (the rental page shows the date you can). The price is the item's sale price on the day you ask, less your rent-to-own credit, plus GST; your deposit is taken off it, and so is any other credit on your account. You see the whole price before you pay, and you can pay yourself or send a pay link for someone else to pay. If the deposit and credit come to more than the price, we refund the difference. Buying one item of a rental with several is arranged by phone: call us.
The equipment is sold as used rental equipment, checked and working on the day you buy it. Any manufacturer's warranty still running passes to you. We don't offer an extra warranty, servicing or replacement after purchase. This doesn't affect your rights under consumer law. Once it's yours, the damage schedule no longer applies and nothing is returned to us.
Supplies
Supplies for the equipment you rent (such as filters, masks and underpads) are sold, not rented, to customers with a current or recent rental, from Supplies in My account. Each item's price, MRP, product details and returns rule are shown before you pay. Unopened supplies can be returned within 7 days of delivery; opened masks, filters and underpads can't be returned unless they are faulty, for hygiene.
Medical advice
We rent and set up equipment; we don't give medical advice. In an emergency, call 108 or 112.
Who can rent
The service is for adults (18 or over). If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us.
