Some answers are awaiting review by a clinician. They are general information, not medical advice: follow the doctor's advice for the person you care for.
It hums steadily while it runs, about as loud as a table fan. It uses about as much power as a large fan or a television; the technician can tell you the figure for the unit you get.
For BiPAP or CPAP, yes: we need the doctor's prescription before delivery. For an oxygen concentrator or a suction machine we ask for one, because the settings come from the doctor. Each item's page says what it needs.
The technician sets the machine to the flow rate or pressures on the doctor's prescription and shows you how to read it.
Please don't change the settings yourself: ask the doctor if the person seems to need more or less.
A concentrator, BiPAP or CPAP runs on mains electricity and stops in a power cut; it is not a backup. If your area has power cuts, ask the doctor what to do if the machine stops, and tell us before delivery so we can talk about a backup.
After we collect the equipment, our technician checks it. We refund the deposit within 3 days of that check, to the card, UPI or bank account you paid from.
If anything is damaged or missing, we deduct only the amounts in our damage schedule and show you each one.
For orders placed before 2 pm, when the equipment is in stock at our hub, we can deliver the same day in the window you choose; otherwise from the next day. Check your PIN code on any item page to see the earliest date for your area.
A biomedical technician delivers it, sets it up, checks that it works and shows you how to use it safely. Ask them anything while they are with you.
Yes. Every unit is cleaned, sanitised and checked after each rental, before it goes to the next home.
